The peninsula stretches from the Calabrian Appenines to the Tyrrheanian Sea directly opposite the Aeolian Islands. It divides the Gulfs of Santa Eufemia and Gioia Tauro. It is located in the Ricadi municipality, about 7 Km from Tropea.

In ancient times the "Cape" was a sacred place well-known throughout Magna Grecia as a place of worship and clairvoyants.  Today it is more famous for its stunning beaches, crystal clear water, 'Nduja of Spilinga and the sweet red onions of Tropea.

The area has lots to offer and you will be able to organise a fun packed holiday; explore the many beautiful beaches, snorkel or scuba dive to see the rare breeds of fish that inhabit the waters,  day trips to the Eolian Island, evening trip to Stromboli to see it erupt, sail along the coastline, cultural tours of greek and roman ruins, gourmet restaurant tour, have a 'passegiata' and an ice-cream at Tropea - we promise it will be a holiday you will not forget!!
