"Settimana in un oasi di relax tra natura, mare e gastronomia"
La struttura è situata in un posto unico e prospetta direttamente sul mare di capo vaticano senza ostacoli alla vista. Dalla terrazza della residenza nella quale ho soggiornato si gode una vista unica e meravigliosa, personale accogliente e sempre pronto in ogni caso, insomma un posto per cui vale la pena ritornarci e magari scoprire negli anni le novità riservate dalla proprietà.

"Great for hiding from the rushing world"
We loved the calmness, simplicity and loving welcome of the place. Emma speaks English and was the most helpful and warm host we ever met. The rooms were simple but clean, equipped with a small kitchenette. We got fresh eggs from the farm almost every day. It's a great place if you want to hide from the rushing world, still very close to the most beautiful beaches.

"Bon souvenir de la Villa Mantineo"
Nous avons aimé... Les hôtes ont été très accueillant, disponible et chaleureux de notre arrivée à notre départ !!! La vue magnifique sur la mer et le Stromboli. Villa typique dont l'appartement était bien agencé et spacieux avec une terrasse ensoleillé. Plages et commerces à proximité en voiture.

Ottima posizione, vicino alla spiaggia di Grotticelle, una delle più belle d'Italia. Vicinissimo anche al centro del paesino. Gli appartamenti sono rustici, ma carini ed immersi nel verde. Il personale gentile e disponibilissimo.

“Relaxing ambiance with beautiful views and welcoming owners.”
If you want a rustic rural retreat this is the place for you. Vittorio runs a restaurant nearby which has local fresh produce and fabulous views over to Stromboli and the Messina Straights. We were made very welcome and enjoyed lots of different dishes which were often more than we could eat.

“Beautiful location and great accommodation”
My husband and I stayed at Villa Mantineo in July with some friends. We had a localy apartment on the ground floor with a stunning balcony overlooking the cliffs. Capo Vaticano is a beautiful part of Italy with stunning beaches and amazing food, very reasonably priced. Strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to sample real Southern Italian life.

“A charming house in a wonderful location.”
The house is close to the breathtaking view from the lighthouse and to the wonderful beaches of Capo Vaticano. The house itself has a great view because you are able to see that magical island of Stromboli from your room.
The house is located at the end of a short road, therefor quiet and central at once. You have quite a few restaurants in walking distance although every apartment has a small kitchen. My apartment had as all the others a nice balcony. It was simple but comfortable, as you spend most of the time in this lovely area outside your room
The landlord and his wife are just great, they have two wonderful kids. She is half german, so in this house they do not understand only Italian and English but also german. Capo Vaticano is only 25 minutes away from the unbelievable pretty town Tropea where you can even go by train.
Spending a holiday in capo Vaticano shows you southern Italy from its best. Wonderful beaches in an area which is not ruined by tourism yet and kept it special charm.

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. Great location, and really close to the beaches, which were great, We were lucky to have a beautiful view of the ocean. Would certainly recommend, and we will be back next year for sure.

“Family Run and friendly”
We had a great stay at Villa Mantineo. The apartment had a fantastic seaview, we enjoyed many sunsets looking out to Stromboli. The apartments are clean, simple, no fuss or frills, but very comfortable. The family who runs the agriturismo is extremely friendly and very hospitable, gaves us great tips for around the area and made us feel right at home. We would definitely go back!!!

My friend and I spent an amazing week at Villa Mantineo. The villa was charming and the setting beautiful, we had a perfect view of Stromboli from our balcony! The hosts were so friendly and the villa within walking distance of one of the best beaches I have been to! I would highly recommend it!
